Dr. Chandwani has more than 10 years of experience in management of TMJ disorders, complex facial pain conditions and headaches. He underwent his dental degree and fellowship training in TMJ disorders at Tufts University. He currently is an adjunct Associate Professor at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has additional training (and license) to practice Acupuncture; he took the Acupuncture program offered by Harvard Medical School. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain as well a Fellow of the Academy.
- They are useful in sudden jaw pain and if a mouthguard is needed for a couple of nights/days
- Contact your dentist rightaway if symptoms worsen. Mouthguards are not supposed to cause more symptoms.
- Do not use them if you snore or have sleep apnea
